Vietnam

In November 2019, Dr. Park joined a team of four fellow American facial plastic and reconstructive surgeons on a week-long medical mission trip to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Their primary focus was on knowledge exchange, collaborating with local physicians and surgeons at Ear Nose Throat Hospital and Cho Ray Hospital. They delivered lectures on reconstructive and facial surgeries while gaining valuable experience performing various surgical procedures. This trip provided a unique opportunity to share expertise, connect with Vietnamese colleagues, and broaden their perspectives through cultural exchange. The experience, while demanding extensive preparation and work, was incredibly rewarding for Dr. Park.
